Looking online, I saw a copy of my father’s manuscript Routine Apparitions for sale. I bought it, of course. As there was no inscription or signature, was this manuscript sent to an agent or publisher? 

And will other manuscripts come up for sale? 

Books given to my father, signed by his friends and colleagues, regularly show up online. What happened to the correspondence? It’s not in the archives.
